Best known as a mobile phone company, EE's branched out into broadband. Now owned by BT, it offers decent customer service and has a record of competitive short-lived promo deals.
What does EE offer?
EE has three different broadband packages, from standard speed all the way to up to 'Fibre Plus' with average speeds of 67Mb, and all come with line rental.
If you want a telly option, you can add EE TV which comes with a decent range of free channels.
Being primarily a mobile phone company, EE also has an extensive range of mobile contract and Sim only deals - and EE pay monthly customers who take out a broadband deal get a boost to their mobile data.
How good is EE's customer service?
It's decent. In our Feb 2018 broadband customer service poll, 42% said it was 'great', while just 23% said it was 'poor'.
EE has three different broadband packages to choose from, depending on what speed you're after. All three allow unlimited downloads and come with line rental, including its standard-speed EE Broadband or its fastest option; EE Fire Plus. If you're an EE pay-monthly mobile customer and take out any of these deals, you'll get an extra 5GB data added to your mobile plan every month.
EE line rental
Line rental comes with all EE's broadband packages, and the firm currently offers four call add-ons including Anytime calls to UK landlines and mobiles and Anytime UK & International Calls.
Only available with EE broadband, EE TV comes with more than 70 free channels, including 11 in HD. You can also use it to access on demand TV, such as Now TV if you pay extra, and its 1TB box allows you to record up to 600 hours of telly.
